FISHER-PRICE imaginext Mummy king

This toy was a mash up of my mechanism for the mummy’s head slamming down and some rubbery guts designed by Big Monster Toys’ George Glasenhardt. This Mummy King was the big bad of Imaginext’s Adventure line and features a flip up mask, slamming head action, rubbery gut prison and a backpack for a smaller figure to pilot.

The two videos below show the pitch and the product. First is the prototype video proposal. This shows the model I made by hand using styrene stock, foamcore and hot glue. I shot and edited the video. The other video shows the final product in animation from Fisher-Price.
